Who we are

We are a Local Church patterned after the Church you read about in The New Testament.

Bethel Church of Christ, We are a New Testament Church of Christ built on the foundations of the Apostles and Prophets and following the examples of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour and Jesus Christ Himself being the Head and Chief Cornerstone of His Church that exists in the rural villages of Fort Portal Uganda. Bethel Church of Christ is permanently registered in Uganda as a Church of Christ.

Currently, Bethel Church of Christ is renting a classroom where the Sunday worship services are being conducted.

OUR OBJECTIVES:

(a) To propagate the Christian faith and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ as revealed through the Holy Scriptures by all means of communication, whether visual, verbal or written.

(b) To provide for preaching, teaching and fostering the growth of Christian faith/religion in all places; to promote missionary work in all places; to carry on the organization of churches and foster their development.

(c) To erect and maintain church buildings, social halls, business offices, school buildings, recreational facilities, personages projects and programs concerned with the work of relief, helping the needy, rehabilitation, development agriculture and medical facilities and such other structures as are deemed necessary and to organize and promote such as are deemed for the up keep and continuance of said buildings and facilities.
